Teresa, known as Terri by friends and family, was always a very proud wife, mother, daughter, sister, and Christian. She lived her life on her terms guided by her faith and was always greatly loved and admired. Terri’s greatest love was always her family. She enjoyed any activity, big or small, as long as it was with family. Terri was very compassionate and loved helping others in the community, so she donated frequently to charity.
“I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” – Philippians 4:13
Teresa is survived by her two children, son Adam Hicks and daughter Shirley Ann Dove, mother JoAnn King, brother Tony King, sister Ava Vaught, four grandchildren, Travis, Brittany, Casey, and Ashley and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband Charlie, grandson Brandon, and sister Jan.
A funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Sechrest-Davis Funerals and Cremations, 18 Randolph St., Thomasville, NC 27360 on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 2:00 pm.
In addition to flowers, memorials may be made to The Salvation Army of High Point.
