He was born June 25, 1964 to H. Clyde and Carolyn Holshouser Crook. He graduated from East Davidson High School in 1982 and was a printer at Quality Label in Winston-Salem. Mitchell loved racing and was a huge #3 Dale Earnhart fan. He was a prankster and jokester and enjoyed picking on his family whom he loved deeply, especially his nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, R.B. and Jessie Mae Holshouser and Charlie and Susie Crook.
Mitchell is survived by his loving parents, H. Clyde and Carolyn Crook of Thomasville; brother, Darrell Crook and wife Marie of Pleasant Garden; sister, Deborah Cranfill and husband Bob of Winston-Salem; nieces, Kelly Routh and Allyson Crook; nephews, Jake Routh and Tyler Crook. Mitchell is also survived by a step-sister, Vanessa Robinette and husband Rick of Charlotte, NC; step-niece Ashley Robinette and step-nephew Kyle Robinette.
The family will receive friends Thursday, December 2, 2010 from 12:00 -2:00 pm at Thomasville Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 2:00 pm with the Reverend Bynum Orr officiating; interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park.
