Kesi was born in Winston-Salem, December 31, 1987 and grew up in Thomasville, attending Thomasville High School, class of 2006. He loved making music as a rapper. Kesi interest included the outdoors, traveling and spending time with his family. He was employed by Fibrex as a machine operator.
Kesi is survived by his parents Robert Baxter, Jr. and Sheila Lawson Baxter, two sons, Marquise Devon McLean, Jr. and TyQuise Devon McLean; two daughters, Miraqle Divine McLean and Merica Divine McLean; four brothers Rahmel Shuler, Justin Lawson, Michael McLean, Letron Lawson and wife Tionna; two god brothers, J’Quan Baxter and Alex Duncan, Jr; two god sisters, Peaches Barnes and Taneka Kennedy; grandparents Robert Lee Baxter, Sr. and Minnie Baxter; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother Carie June Lawson and great grandmother Dollie Mae Stoddard.
A funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Sechrest-Davis Funerals and Cremations, 976 Phillips Ave., High Point on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 5:00 pm by Pastor James McLendon. Viewing will be held Saturday from 4 until 5 p.m. Burial will be Monday at Holly Hill Memorial Park.
