Lucas Ray Whitt

Lucas Ray Whitt, 48, of Thomasville, NC passed away Monday August 7, 2017 at his home.

A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00pm, Sunday, August 20 at From Behind the Veil church, 156 Friendly Road, Thomasville NC. Pastor Wayne Shortt will be officiating.

Whitt was born March 17, 1969 in Guilford County to George and Gail (Cartrette) Whitt. Whitt worked as a truck driver, which he loved to do, until he was forced to stop due to illness. He enjoyed restoring old trucks, fishing, and having a good time with his family.

Whitt is survived by his two daughters, Amanda Whitt King and her husband Josh King of Lexington NC, Erin Paige Burcham and her husband Matt Burcham of Thomasville NC; two grandchildren, Carlee Faith King and Levi Ray Carl King; his loving fiancé Sandra Conaway and her son Ryan Conaway of Thomasville NC; his parents George and Gail (Cartrette) Whitt of Thomasville NC; his sister Penny Whitt Mayes and her husband Charles Mayes of Sherrills Ford NC; his niece Nikki Johnston, her husband Corey Johnston and son Josiah of Gastonia NC ; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
