Dwight Lee Richardson

Dwight was born in Davidson County, July 3, 1945, a son of the late Edward Lee Richardson and Ruth Thayer Richardson. He retired from Parkdale Cotton Mill and enjoyed gardening and working on the family farm. Dwight was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Dawn Underwood and husband Rusty; two sons, Bobby Richardson and Brent Richardson and fiancé Mallory Lovingood; a sister, Nina Kennedy; a grandson, Charles Underwood.

A Celebration of Dwight’s Life will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church by Reverend Susan Mitchell. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Thomasville Funeral Home Wednesday from 6 until 9 p.m. Memorials may be directed to Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church or Hospice of Davidson County.
