Brenda Kay Lambert Mincey

Brenda Kay Lambert Mincey, 62, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2015 at her home.

Brenda was born on May 30, 1952 in Loudon County, Tennessee to the late J.C. and Ruth Maynard Lambert. She was of the Baptist faith and had made furniture samples for many years. She especially loved raising her children and grandchildren and all sports including racing, basketball, football and baseball. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Tom Mincey and her brother, Jeff Lambert.

Surviving are her children, Tommy Mincey (Mary) of Trinity, Eddie Mincey (Tammy) of Thomasville, Lea Rich (Jimmy) of Asheboro, Renea Mincey Owens (Lynn) of Denton, Phillip Mincey of Thomasville, and Justin Mincey of Thomasville; grandchildren, Thomas, Alicia, Brandon, Tiffany, Tracy, Amanda, Travis, Michael, and Chris; two great grandchildren, Jacob and Lane; and siblings Vivian Moser and Hal Lambert.

A celebration of Brenda’ s life will be 11 am Saturday in the chapel of Thomasville Funeral Home, 18 Randolph Street, with Pastor Doug Byrd officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm Friday at the funeral home.
