Born December 11th, 1933 in Winnsboro Tx to Bruce and Minnie Lou Connelley, she lived most of her life in Houston Tx. She worked many years for Southern Pacific Railroad and then went on to Self Employment at Big City Surplus, and Adams Auto Trim, retiring in 2000.
Yvonne will be especially remembered for her loving spirit, her seemingly ever present smile, and her gentle way. Throughout her life, she looked for ways to help and comfort people. She became a light in any room she found herself in with her attitude of servitude and an infectious laugh that you just had to smile back at. Her gentle, loving, and helping way brought sunshine and glimpses of beauty that always lightened hearts and buoyed spirits
Coming from modest beginnings and never having a lot, she carried herself with grace and elegance. Always dressing to the nines, and wearing copious costume jewelry, Yvonne was frequently The Belle of the Ball. The sparkle of her spirit and of her jewelry could not be missed. Oh how she loved her Bling.
Yvonne had a special love of plants and gardening. One of her favorite outings was to any local nursery where she could walk among the plants, and of course, take home a few. Most visits to my home included an interested tour of my gardens.
Yvonne loved her family, her children, and her grand children.
She loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She is welcomed in Heaven by those loved ones preceding her in death and she waits with her love and her smile for those will that will join her soon.
Yvonne is survived by her sister, Chloe Wise, her children: Ron Bautsch of the Woodlands, Greg Bautsch, and Melissa Hughes of Houston. Her surviving Grand Children include:
Ross Ehren Bautsch of Willis, Cameron Reece Bautsch, Chelsey Lynn Hughes, Dillon Lee Hughes, James Daniel Hughes, Rachel Marie Hughes, and Jessica Bautsch. Great Grand Children are: Sarah Kathryn Bautsch.
Services will be held at Forest Park, The Woodlands at 12:00 pm. A Celebration of Life Reception will follow the service at 12:45 pm Forest Park.
