I just learned of Yatendra's passing.  I have worked with her on numerous projects over of the years.   She was always such a professional to deal with and I so much appreciated the way she would try to work with people.  I am so sorry for the family's loss.  Please know she was a much admired person in the Marine and Energy Industries.

I will always fondly remember Yatendra's smile and her cheerful attitude, even on those rare occasions when she seemed serious - you just knew her smile was right behind, waiting to break through.

I will also remember her strong voice and thick accent in the  office ... there was no mistaking when she was around and discussing something, technical or not; that always made me smile and get up to go see her and say "hi". 

Her humility was admirable despite her being such an accomplished engineer. Even though we did not directly work together, we were nevertheless colleagues at ABS and I am proud to call her my friend. 

Yatendra - I will surely miss you, my friend, and I am blessed to have known you. You were a very beautiful person and I am sure that you are making them smile in Heaven also.
