Thomas Wesley Bennett, born November 10, 2009, passed away on January 29, 2023, at the age of 13. Thomas, loving son to Richard and Carolyn Bennett and brother to Jackson Burlin Bennett, entered Eternal Life in Glory surrounded by his family and prayers.
Thomas was just four years old when he became seriously ill and suffered from constant seizures. He was a faithful and strong boy who lived the last nine years fighting this disease. He was a testament to living each day trusting in Jesus, who has now healed him and taken him straight into His loving arms. While Thomas will be missed, we take comfort that he is in Heaven and we pray that he will help and guide us through this life, until we meet again.
Thomas is preceded in death by his paternal great grandparents Colonel Burlin S. and Freda Bennett of Oklahoma, Sr. Guillermo and Sra. Rosa Mercado of Lima, Peru, maternal great grandparents MSG Chester M. and Angela N. Callihan of El Paso, Texas, MSG Frank M. and Alice J. Hunt of El Paso, Texas, and his loving great aunt, Sammy Lou Eagy of Oklahoma. Thomas is survived by his parents Richard and Carolyn Bennett, brother Jackson Burlin Bennett, grandparents Dr. James B. and Margarita Bennett, Dale E. and Sallie Hunt, and loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
