Stanley R Rosen

It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of Stanley Robert Rosen, Son of Irving & Carmen Rosen (both deceased), Husband to Judith Rosen, Brother of Marvin, David (deceased), Arnold and Sandy Rosen, Father of Craig & Allison Rosen, Michael & Cassandra Rosen, Stephen & Laurie Rosen, Grandfather of Ashley & Emily, Aaron, Sterling, Audrie, Brandon, Travis, Dawson & Katelyn Rosen.

Stanley grew up in Queens, NY right by the Whitestone bridge where he enjoyed fishing with his brothers. He earned a diving scholarship to Michigan State University, where he graduated with a BS in Construction Management. During his time at MSU, he met and dated his future wife, Judith. After graduation, he served as an officer in the Navy on the USS Saratoga. After returning, he married Judy, and he landed a job with a large home construction firm. He moved to Ohio to run a large region of the construction firm for several years. He was promoted in 1977 to start a south division, building homes in the Woodlands, TX. He quickly left the company to start his own home construction business that was successful for many years throughout the Houston area.

Stanley loved his family dearly, and he passed on his love for sports, music, and traveling with his all his children & grandchildren. He loved playing golf, snow skiing, scuba diving, and attending sporting events & music concerts with his wife and children. We had many laughs and special memories to treasure with Stanley. He was 80.
