He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on October 18, 1939, and graduated from Western Hills High School.
He was married to Jan Day on November 29, 1969.
Ron Day had a career in food service, working for such companies as Pepsi, John Sexton, Sysco, and Seafood Supply. He was a member of Kentucky Colonel’s Southern Ohio Quarter Horse Association and had a passion for horses, boats, and family.
Ron was preceded in death by his father, George Day, and mother, Mildred Day (Berg); sister, Georgana Day; and brothers, David and John Day.
He is survived by his wife, Jan Day; son, James Day, and wife, Carolyn; daughter, Angie Jones (Day); grandchildren, Anthony Lengua, Cameryn Jones, Grayson and Emily Day, Connor, Collin and Cameron Frank; siblings, Janet Bessenbacher (Day) and Deanna Hoffman (Day).
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 2, 2018, starting at 3:30 p.m. in the chapel of Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 4:30 p.m. in the chapel with a reception immediately following in the event room.
