Nancy Joan Quinn

Nancy Quinn, 74, of The Woodlands, Texas, passed away July 10, 2017. She was born in Mineola, New York, on November 22, 1942, to Frank and Mary Pizzo. She was married to John Quinn on February 8, 1969.

She is survived by her husband, John; her children, Dennis Metaxas, Christopher Quinn, and Lisa Karahan; daughter-in-law, Brigett Metaxas; and son-in-law, Ahmet Karahan. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, Mary Anna Metaxas, Noelle Metaxas and Keira Metaxas, Kathryn Quinn, Christina Quinn, Jessica Quinn, Sean Fairbank, Livia Karahan and Alara Karahan, and one great grandchild.

Nancy was a stay-at-home mother for many years before managing a charity store called “Love One Another” in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. She was a long time member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Parish, also in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, before moving to Texas in 1999.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Simon and Jude Parish in the Woodlands, Texas, on July 28th at 11a.m. A memorial service will be held at a future date on Long Island, New York, where she will be laid to rest.
