She was the daughter of Flossy Anderson Pierson and William C. Pierson, Sr. Loretta was a graduate of Jack Yates High School in Houston, Texas, and went on to attend college, where she studied business.
After completing her education, Loretta began her professional career at Tenneco Bank, before joining the United States Postal Service, where she worked until her retirement.
Throughout her life, Loretta had a passion for travel and enjoyed exploring different parts of the world, both domestically and internationally. She was also an avid fan of cooking shows and listening to ministry programs.
Loretta's child-hood church home was Lone Star Missionary Baptist Church. She later became an active member of her church community through the House of Prayer and Life under Pastor C.B. Arnold. She was known for her kind and generous spirit and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. She enjoyed listening to her Pastor, Profit Brian Carn, of Kingdom City Church.
One of Loretta's defining traits was her role as the "Parentified Child" in her family. She provided emotional and financial support to her younger siblings throughout their childhood and young adult years. Her selflessness and dedication to her family were truly remarkable.
Preceding Loretta in death are her: Parents: Flossy M. Anderson Pierson, William C. Pierson, Sr., Husband: Leon E. Beller, Brothers: Eddie B. Pierson, William C. Pierson, Jr., Benjamin Pierson, Junior "Tiny" Miller. Sisters: Molly Brown and Rose Durst.
Loretta is survived by her siblings: Lovelis Pierson, Sr. (Charles Pierson), Rudolph Pierson, Sr. (Artelia Pierson), Verna Jordan, Lee E. Russell (Leon Russell), Tom Pierson, (JoAnn Pierson), Marjorie R. Davis, Jerry Pierson, Velma P. Douglas, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A funeral service for Loretta will be held Friday, March 17, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home & Cemetery, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384.
