She was born in Houston, Texas, August 5, 1953.
Judy graduated from Sam Houston High School and received her degree in computer science and mathematics from the University of Texas, Austin.
She was married to Mitchel Arenstein on April 10, 1993, and they never parted until her passing.
Judy was a computer programmer and also worked as both a domestic and international payroll account. She wanted to sell homes and was, for a time, a licensed Real Estate Agent.
She loved her family. Every January, she started looking towards the next Christmas and thinking about what she would get for the kids. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she was always doing things for others. Her favorite treat was a Frappe at Starbucks—caramel with extra ice and a shot of espresso. When she discovered java chip, she loved that, too!
Judy is survived by her husband, Mitchel; sons, John Halt, Ardon Halt, Jacob Arenstein and Steven Arenstein; granddaughter, Cheyenne Halt and her brother, James Beams; and a list of family and friends.
The visitation will be on March 5, 2015, from 9-1 p.m. with the funeral service at 1 p.m. at Forest Park The Woodlands Chapel with burial to follow.
