He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John B. Gandy, Sr.; grandmothers, Jerry Jacqueline Gandy and Thersie Mariah Gandy; maternal grandparents, George Allen Shaper and Zella Hartness Shaper.
Johnny leaves behind one sister, Jaycie Ann Gandy Paris and her husband, Christopher Scott Paris; and two nephews and nieces, Christopher John Paris and wife, Christina Ann of Spring, Texas and Jarrod Allen Paris and fiancée, Adrian June Denman of Conroe, Texas; and great-nephew Christopher Parker Paris. Johnny also leaves behind two house mates and brothers, George Higgs and Jason Kotenbrink.

Johnny's purpose on this Earth was to make friends with everyone he happened to meet and to teach human beings that consider themselves normal humans to love each other. He had a passion for bowling, hanging out with his peers and Special Olympics. He loved Elvis Presley and pretty girls.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2016 from 9:30am to 11:00am with funeral service to follow at 11:00am at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Forest Park The Woodlands Cemetery.
