Frances was an angel sent from heaven. She had a heart that God only gives a select few. She was a guardian angel here on earth and is now a guardian angel in heaven. She had a smile that lit up a room and the most beautiful blonde bouffant hair that you could pick out from a crowd. The holding of her hand was comfort, her hugs felt like home. Frances and Bob recently celebrated 43 years of marriage on September 30th. The love they shared even in the worst of situations was awe inspiring. Frances was always there for her daughters. Whether it was church mom, scout leader, room mother, PTO president, choir mom, yearbook mom, dance mom or drill team mom. She was even given her own key to the girl’s elementary school because of all the time she spent working there. Frances went around telling everyone Robin, her youngest, was her clone. But of course, being so little, Robin thought her mother said cologne and often wondered why her mommy would want to smell like her? Frances was the first one her daughters called if they needed help, had good news, or just needed to talk. She was the first one to help pick up the pieces, organize a celebration, pick out décor, or to talk their ears off for two hours. She was the strongest women you would ever know. Holding down two or three jobs at a time while having arthritic knees that were bone to bone until finally retiring at 70 years old. She has been through may trials and tribulations in her life, but always came out the other side with a smile and a laugh that was so charming you would fall in love with her instantly. Two minutes in her presence and you would lover her for a life time. She fought and won over breast cancer in her sixties and fought as hard as she could with endometrial cancer in her seventies, but god has taken home his special angel. A mom full of warmth and compassion, a wife full of love and a woman to aspire to be like.
