Edward Arthur Mihalov

He was born in Hammond, IN on August 3, 1958 to John and Faith Mihalov, and moved to Texas as an infant knowing he couldn’t take the cold weather. As a youth, Eddie was always outdoors---whether fishing, hunting, or just being mischievous with his brothers or friend, Russel Davis. The many stories shared over the years of Eddie and his three brothers explained why his Mom always said “there was a special place for a mother of four boys.”

Eddie met his wife, Lesan Mihalov, when they attended Spring High School in 1976, and were married on March 31, 1979. He entered the US Army in 1977 and proudly served until 1980, when he received an honorable discharge. Eddie loved our country and was always ready to defend it. Eddie and Lesan had 3 beautiful children that he loved with all his heart; Joseph Edward Mihalov, Jennifer Marie Mihalov Baker, husband Josh Baker, and Matthew Robert Mihalov.

Eddie is survived by his wife, children and son-in-law, his brothers, John Mihalov, Anthony Mihalov and Michael Mihalov, along with a host of treasured aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by both of his parents, John and Faith Mihalov, whom he cared for continuously and compassionately until their passing.

Eddie never met a stranger. He always had a smile on his face or a joke to tell, which assisted with his success of AAA Riley Fuzzel Storage. Other than the business, he was passionate about fishing, hunting, working with his hands, raising plumerias, and caring for his purple martins. Eddie has gone way too soon and will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends.
