Dale Armand Dossey, CPA, Attorney, passed away Monday August 31, 2015 in Montgomery,Texas at age 70. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Nancy Ruthstrom Dossey, children James Philip Dossey and wife Jennifer, Stephen Dale Dossey and wife Amanda, and Sarah Dossey Keilers and husband Preston. Dale is also survived by his brother Theron Ennis Dossey III, sisters Sylvia Dossey Robb, Robin Dossey Parkinson, and Ellen Dossey Williams, and five grandchildren: Claire, Phoebe, Noah, Madelynne, and newborn Olivia Dale.
Dale was born in Houston, Texas on August 8, 1945 to parents Theron Ennis Dossey Jr. and June Leach Dossey. As a child, Dale spent many summers on Lake McQueeney near Seguin Texas, camping, water skiing and fishing. Dale was a cheerleader at Milby High School, and graduated in the class of 1963. He then attended McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas and earned a BA in Business and Accounting in 1966, followed by a Doctor of Jurisprudence at the University of Texas School of Law in 1969.
Dale married Nancy Ruthstrom on August 3, 1968. He enlisted in the United States Army Reserve in 1969 and completed paratrooper training at Fort Benning, Ga. Dale became a CPA in 1972 and was certified by the Texas State Board of Legal Specialization in Taxation, and Wills and Probate. His knowledge and expertise were respected statewide and he was invited to serve on that board for two terms. Dale also served on the Montgomery ISD Board of Trustees for seventeen years. In 1994, Dale established The Haraldson Foundation to award need based scholarships to students attending The University of Texas.
Dale's favorite song was "The Eyes of Texas" and he loved the "orange and white". He enjoyed snow skiing, mountain bike riding, photography, music, bird hunting, fishing and attending football games at UT Austin. He loved the Colorado mountains, summer and winter, as well as traveling to exotic locations worldwide.

Visitation will be held on Friday September 4, 2015 at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home, 18000 I-45 South, The Woodlands, Texas 77384 from 7 - 9 p.m. Dale's funeral service will be held on Saturday September 5, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home.
