Brit graduated from Texas A&M University in 1980, with an Engineering degree. He married Alida Muckleroy on May 11, 1984. They settled in Houston, TX. They were married for 35 years. Brit and Alida have four children and two granddaughters. Brit was a beloved Husband, Father, and Paw Paw. He loved his family and will be missed.
Brit was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was a Police Officer with the Houston Police Department for thirty years, having retired March 31, 2016.
Brit had a few hobbies that he was passionate about. He loved working on cars and motorcycles, doing home remodeling and repairs, and watching college football games, especially Texas A&M. He enjoyed watching and reading Sci-Fi. Brit loved camping and hiking.
Brit was predeceased by his father, William Charles Mosley. He is survived by his wife, Alida Mosley, son, William (Bill), Rex and his wife, Jamie and their two daughters, Ruby (6), Ellen (4), daughter, Audrey, and son, Lee. His mother, Shirley Mosley, sister, Judy and her husband Bruce Ruhlin, sisters, June Huhn, Janet McIntyre, and Johanna and her husband Ken Friedrich, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Brit will be laid to rest at Forest Park of The Woodlands in a private family graveside burial service on Saturday, April 11, 2020.
