Beverly Jane Lambert passed away at her home peacefully in The Woodlands, Texas on January 13, 2018. Beverly was born December 15, 1933 and raised in Tyler, Minnesota to Danish parents, Soren and Stella Larsen. After graduating High School, Beverly attended the Minneapolis School of Business. Then, after completing her courses, she later joined her sister, Ann, to work in Los Angeles as a Secretary. Eventually, she moved to Washington D.C., where she met the ‘love of her life’, Glynn P. Lambert, who was in the Marine Corps. They married and remained happily so for over 62 years. Beverly and Glynn raised three sons and traveled the world while in the military for the next 18 years, before retiring in Austin, Texas. While in Austin, they opened a small chain of convenience stores named ‘Dandy’s, where she became the food manager for the Deli. After selling, the stores Beverly and Glynn wanted to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Therefore, they retired and moved to Windsor Lakes in The Woodlands where they have lived for the last 13 years.
Beverly deeply loved her husband, three sons, daughter-in-laws and grandchildren. She also loved bowling, she loved her dogs, and she loved traveling and cruises- especially to Asia.
Beverly is preceded in death by her parents Soren and Stella Larsen, her sister Ann Weinacht and her three brothers Reed, Robert and Darrell. She is survived by her husband, Glynn and children Rick Lambert, Jeff and Christi Lambert, Garner and Debbie Lambert. Her Grandchildren: Wesley and Jacqueline Adams, Marissa Lambert and Nicolette Lambert as well as her Sister-in-law and husband Shirley and L.B. Cowan and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was loved by all and will be missed very much.
Services will take place at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home (Dignity) in The Woodlands, Texas on Saturday, January 20th and begin at 2:00 pm.
