Scott was born on July 15th 1961 in Shreveport, LA. The family moved to Texarkana when the boys were young and Texarkana has remained their home for the last 60 years. Scott was the youngest son of Wade & Carolyn Fowler.
Scott died of natural causes on the evening of April 21st. He was preceded in death by his father, Wade Fowler, Sr. as well as his grandparents.
He is survived by his mother, Carolyn; his brother Wade Fowler, Jr. and wife Kim; his niece, Hillary Cloud and her husband – Austin and their children – Fowler Grace and William Bourne. Scott leaves behind many cousins as well.
Scott graduated from Texas High in 1979 and also attended Stephen F. Austin State University. He worked in the family business for many years.
Scott grew up doing all the things boys do – hunting, fishing motor bikes, etc. Following a debilitating brain injury in the late 80’s, his life changed dramatically. He handled this with the grace and humility that only Scott could do. He has always loved the outdoors and animals. He loves music as much if not more so than many musicians.
Scott was a kind, gentle soul who loved his family and friends and will be missed by so many.
Graveside service will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Calvary Cemetery officiated by Fr. John Paul.
