Robert "Butch" F. Carpenter

Robert "Butch" F. Carpenter, 75, of Bloomburg, TX passed away July 11, 2015 in a local hospital. Mr. Carpenter was born November 6, 1939 in Marshall, TX. He was a member of Cass County Cowboy Church; and a U. S. Navy veteran. Mr. Carpenter was retired from Texas Utilities.

Survivors include his wife, Clara Carpenter of Bloomburg, TX; sister and brother-in-law, Jimmie and Jerry Van Norden of Hallsville, TX; children, Angie and J. K. Stanley of Queen City, TX, Russell and Tina Taylor of Fouke, AR, Julie and Scott Braden of Bloomburg, TX, Donna Carpenter and Jeff Davis of Jefferson, TX and Jimmy Carpenter and Robin Antonson of Kilgore, TX; 21 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews; and special recognition to Margaret Daniels.

Service will be 2 p.m., Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Cass County Cowboy Church, Atlanta, TX with Bro. Mickey Rorex and Bro. George Goynes officiating. Burial will be in Beech Creek Cemetery, Atlanta, TX under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at the East Funeral Home- Downtown.
