Mattie Kay Johnston, age 78, of Doddridge, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2024. She was born on September 3, 1945 in Fort Lynn, AR. Member of the Union Grove Church of Christ. Loved attending garage and estates sales. Also loved her cats. She enjoyed going to church and her Sunday afternoon rides in the country.
She is preceded in death by a son Keith Edward Ketcham; parents Lynn and Eve Dyer and five brothers Buddy Dyer, Bill Dyer, Will Dyer, Rudolph Dyer and Lemley Dyer.
Survived by her husband James Dave Johnston, two daughters and sons-in-law Kassie and Craig Loe, Karrie and Austin Reeves; son Brian Johnston; cousin Phyllis Hensley and husband Jerry. Plus nieces, nephews and other family.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at East Funeral Home-Downtown officiated by Rev. Cal Brannon. Burial to follow in Rocky Mound Cemetery.
Visitation will be 1 to 2:00 pm Wednesday prior to the funeral service.
