He was born July 2, 1940 in Paris, Texas. He was retired from Cooper Tire where he worked as a millwright over 30 years. He was preceded in death by his parents J.M. and Maggie Lee Seay, brother William B. Seay, sisters, Mary Hiebert, Virginia Elsie Seay.
He is survived by his two sisters Bonnie Malloy and Martha Pierce. Also left to cherish his memory is his wife of 54 years Betty Seay, Son and daughter-in-law; Ronnie and Cathy Seay and daughter and son-in-law; Carolyn and Steve Castine. He has 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and 1 more on the way.
Mark and Betty headed up the shoebox ministry for many years until their health would not allow.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. , Wednesday, September 20th, 2023 at East Funeral Home-Downtown Chapel with Rev. Kevin Myers and Rev. Mike Powell officiating. Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
