Jo Ellen Haire

Jo Ellen Haire, 72, of Texarkana, TX passed away December 15, 2020 in a local hospital. Mrs. Haire was born July 17, 1948 in Texarkana, AR. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Texarkana, TX where she was the one year old Sunday School teacher. She was a member of the Wesleyan Ringers at Williams Memorial United Methodist Church. She was the co-owner of Texarkana Barber and Beauty Supply with her late husband Donald Morris Haire who preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and James Smallwood; grandsons, Mason Smallwood, Preston Smallwood and Ashton Smallwood all of Texarkana, TX; brother and sister-in-law, William F. and Sherry Whitlock; sister, Jeannine Campbell all of Texarkana, TX niece, Wendy Whitlock of Dallas, TX; and nephews, Rusty Thomas of Texarkana, TX, Ronald Thomas of Dallas, TX and Shawn Whitlock of Ft. Worth, TX.

Services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, December 19, 2020 at East Memorial Chapel-Moores Lane with Rev. Larry Sims officiating. Burial is in Red Lick Cemetery under the direction of East Funeral Home - Moores Lane.

Come and go viewing will be from 1pm to 5pm Friday, December 18, 2020 at the the funeral home.
