Estelle Hopkins Merrell, 84, of Ashdown, AR died October 22, 2011 in a Texarkana Nursing Home. She was a Baptist and former business owner. Born July 19, 1927 in New Boston, TX. to Ider Tutt Hopkins and Robert Hopkins.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father and step father James Ward.
Survivors include her husband Clarence Merrell Ashdown, AR; brother-in-law George Merrell of ; sister-in-law Pauline Lout and one niece Carrie Melick all of Ashdown, AR. One special cousin Neoma Guyton of Queen City, TX.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
