Eileen Williams, age 77, of Texarkana, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024 surrounded by loving family in a local hospital after a lengthy illness. Eileen was born on December 28, 1946 in Texarkana, AR. She was a lifelong member of St Edward Catholic Church where she was a member of the choir for 23 years and Our Ladies Rosary makers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, LTC Ret. William R. Williams,Jr. and Catherine Bann Williams, grandparents, William E. and Maud Bann and grandmother, Mable Carter Williams.
Survived by brothers John Williams and his wife Vickie of Tyler, TX, Bann Williams of Tucson, AZ and Ross Williams of Texarkana, AR; sisters, Erin Williams of San Antonio, Tx and Ann Williams Purtle and her husband Don of Fayetteville, AR; nephews Stephen Purtle of Fayetteville, AR, David Purtle of Sherwood, AR; nieces, Rebecca Williams Behm of Houston, TX, Caroline Williams of Tyler, TX and Susannah Williams of Washington, DC; three great nephews and three great nieces and many loving cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St Edwards Catholic Church, 410 Beech St, Texarkana, Arkansas. A rosary and visitation will occur Friday, October 18, 2024 at 6:00 PM at East Funeral Home, 602 Olive St, Texarkana, Arkansas. A burial will occur Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Calvary Cemetery, Texarkana, Arkansas.
