Edward Earl Ratliff

Mr. Edward Earl Ratliff, 66, formerly of Springhill, LA. passed away at his home in Texarkana, AR. Friday, February 12, 2016. Mr. Ratliff was a member of East Side Baptist Church of Springhill, LA. He graduated from Liberty Eylau High School in 1968 and in 1972 from Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, TX with a degree in Forestry.

Preceded in death by his parents Arthur A. and Lois Caroline Ratliff.

Edward is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Amanda and Matt Barham of Ruston, LA; a son and daughter-in-law Michael and Lindsay Ratliff of Haughton, LA; one brother Arthur Ratliff of Chambersburg, PA; three sisters Caroline Simmons of Texarkana, TX., Gwendolyn Montoya of San Angelo, TX. and Diane Montoya of Helotes, TX; five grandchildren Ella Grace Barham and Sawyer Barham both of Ruston, LA., Madelyn Butler, Rylee Ratliff and Bayleigh Ratliff all three of Haughton, LA. Plus numerous nieces and nephews and a special care giver Makela Gant of Texarkana, AR.

Mr. Ratliff was quoted as saying "My greatest achievements were my children and grandchildren whom I loved dearly"

Graveside funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 15, 2016 at Holly Springs Cemetery in Fouke, AR. officiated by Mr. John King.
