Daniel "Dan" Barnes

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Willow Barnes; and a son, Patrick Barnes.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Patricia Barnes of Doddridge, AR; daughters and son-in-law, Cheryl Barnes of Texarkana, TX and Shannon and Doug Duncan of Doddridge, AR; three grandchildren, Janice and Jason Applegate of Maud, TX, Daniel and Susan Hazel of Doddridge, AR and Laura and Courtney Harris of West Monroe, LA; and two precious great grandchildren, Kinley and Claire Harris of West Monroe, LA.

Graveside service will be 10 a.m., Thursday, October 12, 2023 at Mt. Zion Cemetery with Bro. Sammy Bumgardner officiating. Burial is under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.

Family will be at Mt. Zion Baptist Church from 9 to 10 a.m, Thursday, prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Zion Cemetery Fund, 9246 Hwy 160, Doddridge, AR 71834.
