Billy Winn Beckham, age 94, was born at home in Hempstead county Arkansas near Springhill, AR. on April 22,1930. He passed away on June 5, 2024 in Texarkana, TX. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was successful in many private businesses but his passion was building construction. He had a real talent in design and construction of many homes and businesses in the Hope and Texarkana area. He was a real-estate broker. He also taught building and carpentry at Arkansas High School in Texarkana.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 72 years Patsy Thomas Beckham; his parents James Lester and Faria Beckham and his sister Mary Butler.
He is survived by his daughter Kerry Tietze and husband David, grandson Jeff Tanner and wife Jenny, great-granddaughter Emily Tanner, granddaughter Melissa Lane and husband Tyler, great-grandson Thomas Lane and one special sister-in-law Judy Thomas and several nieces and nephew.
The family would like to thank April,Jennifer, Jessica, Zac and Rachel of Concho Heart Hospice and Gina, Kim, Matt, Sandy and the wonderful staff at Brookdale Assisted Living.
