Richard Noel Streacker

Richard Noel Streacker, 85, of Terre Haute, passed away on Friday, July 29, 2022 at his home. He was born on November 24, 1936, in Terre Haute, to Joseph and Lucille (Jones) Streacker.
Richard is survived by his children, William Henry Streacker, Joseph Wayne Streacker; wife Denise Streacker, Sara Jeanne Rufner, Richard Lane Streacker, and Robert Blaine Streacker; a sister, Pat Meneely; special friend, Pat Collins; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two wives, Helen Dorothy Streacker and Nancy Streacker.
Richard was a 1954 graduate of Garfield High School and achieved his Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rose Hulman in 1958. He worked for several years as a civil servant at Crane Naval Station, Perfect Circle, and Crescent Plastics in Evansville. Richard returned to Terre Haute and worked as the plant manager for Ethel VisQueen before joining his family’s business, Jones Tool and Machine.
Richard was a man of faith who had a strong relationship with the Lord. He was committed to his church and was a long-time member of 8th Avenue Baptist Church. He cherished his family and loved to host gatherings and holiday parties. Richard was a humble man, kind in spirit, and strong in faith. He will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 4 at Roselawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be private. Richard will be laid to rest in Roselawn Memorial Park’s Chapel of Memories. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.roselawnfuneralhome.net
