Marilyn Kay Wence
15 January, 1949 – 30 June, 2015
BRAZIL — Marilyn Kay (Rollins) Wence, 66, of Brazil, passed away June 30, 2015, at St. Vincent Clay Hospital, surrounded by her family.
Marilyn was born Jan. 15, 1949, in Linton, the daughter of Rex Rollins and the late Marilyn V. (Quillen) Nall. Marilyn married Thomas G. Wence in 1975. She was a licensed cosmetologist and owned and operated Beauty Unlimited in Terre Haute. Marilyn enjoyed painting, spending time around water and loved fishing. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Marilyn Nall; stepfather, Chester Nall; and grandparents, Max and Hazel Quillen.
Marilyn is survived by her daughters, Michelle C. Holt (Charlie Marter), Carol Edington (Brad); grandchildren, Morgan Holt, Kaylee Edington, Emilee Edington; sister, Diane Wiggington (Will); father, Rex Rollins; aunts, Margaret Quillen and Andrea Donzero; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Per Marilyn’s wishes, cremation has been chosen. The family has entrusted her care with French Funeral Home. There will be a celebration of life at a later date. Visit www.frenchfuneralhome.com to light a candle in her memory.
