Lynne Elaine Higham, 69, passed away on June 16, 2024. Lynne was born on October 10, 1954, in Clinton, IN to parents Francis and Lena Elizabeth (Goodman) Tate. Lynne is survived by her husband Darrell Higham and her 2 sons, Jeremy Carter and Darrell Higham (JR) Junior. She is also survived by 5 siblings, Jack Tate, Donald Tate, Sue (Tate) Seyfert, Timothy Tate, and William Tate; and several nieces and nephews. Lynne was preceded in death by her mother Lena Elizabeth, father Francis G Tate, and 5 brothers.
Lynne was a member of the North Side Church of Christ
Lynne worked nearly 46 years for the Tribune Star before retiring on February 6, 2023. She obviously loved her job and the people she worked with.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Cross Lane Community Church at 2204 Lafayette Ave, Terre Haute, IN on Monday July 8, 2024 with visitation starting at 10:30 AM and Celebration of Life starting at 11AM. The graveside service will be at Roselawn Cemetery immediately following the service. Please join us in celebrating Lynne by sharing stories and pictures you may have of Lynne.
