Jerry Leroy Reedy Sr.

Gerald “Jerry” Reedy Sr., 71 of Terre Haute, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on March 18, 1946 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Clarence and Dorothy Reedy. Jerry loved music and anyone around him could be mesmerized by his voice. He was an avid woodworker and made the most beautiful creations. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, was known for his big hugs, and dearly loved his wife. He was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend who will be greatly missed by all. He was preceded in death by his parents, several brothers and sisters, and a step-son, Rodney Flora. He is survived by his beloved wife of 26 years, Sherrion; son, Gerald “Jerry” (Jessie) Reedy Jr.; daughters, Leah (Tony) Rogers; Tonya (Carlton Anderson) Flora; daughter-in-law, Beverly Flora; sister, Rosemary Jackson; grandchildren, Jerry, Justin, Josh, Jared Michael, and Kascee Reedy, Cody and Jacob Flora, Michelle and Todd Archer, Jeremy, Shane, Beretta, Katana, and Jayda Sharp; 10 great-grandchildren, including, Braylon, Hayden, and Dylan; as well as several nieces and nephews.
