He spent three years in the Air Force Special Services. He retired from the post office after thirty years. He was a fifty year member of the Masons. James was an avid fisherman. He, his wife and all of his family went to Kentucky Lake fishing for a week every year.
James was preceded in death by his mother, Chloe, father, James, sisters, Debra and Katherine.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; daughter, Karen; son, Kristopher and his wife Rose Ann; granddaughters, Nicole, Jennifer and Krislyn; great grandson, AJ; sister Margaret and her son, Danny and several nieces and nephews.
Services for James will be on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 1:00pm at Roselawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:00pm to 1:00pm Saturday. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.
