Freddie Lee Fields, age 70, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. Freddie was born in Terre Haute on November 30, 1952 to Fred D. Fields and Mary V. Hines Fields.
He was a graduate of North Vigo High School. Freddie served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam Era.
He retired from Sony DADC in 2016.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Surviving are his two daughters, Jennifer Fields and companion Brent Schoffstall, and Miranda Bose; two granddaughters, Morgan Bose and Abbigail Bose; his twin brother Eddie James Fields and wife Terri; a sister Tonia Lynch; and a brother, Teddie Fields and wife Jennifer; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Freddie served the Posey Township Volunteer Fire Department for 9 years, and had been a 32nd degree Mason. He was a member and deacon of Staunton First Christian Church.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 20, 2023 at 1 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home, with Pastor Jeff Lee officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until time of services at the funeral home. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
