Eva Marie Stringer

Eva Marie was a graduate of Cory High School and attended Terre Haute Business College. She held several secretarial positions for various firms. She and her husband pastored churches in Clinton and Seelyville for several years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and a very loving, giving person. She was also a wonderful cook.

Eva Marie is survived by a daughter, Cherylle Nichols; son, Robert Harold (Holly) Stringer of Shelbyville, TN; grandchildren, Zach Keller of Terre Haute, Jacob (Lisa) Keller of Clay City, Carrie Black, Ellen Jeans (Chris), Becky Stringer, Danny Stringer, all of Shelbyville, TN, and Jenny Houser of Robinson, IL; several great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Martha Hoard (Bud) of Cory; sister-in-law, Carol Fagg of Cory; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Grover Harold Stringer; daughter, Jeanette Keller; brothers, Robert Fagg, Ermel Fagg, and Ronald Fagg; sister, Louise Butt; and sister-in-law, Wanda Fagg.

A funeral ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 31 at Cory Community Church of the Nazarene. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday, at the church.
