Alice Mae Wade, 88, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 surrounded by loved ones. Alice was born on April 28, 1931 to John G Hanna Sr. And Alice M. Hanna (Crosson) in California. She married John Willard Wade Sr. on July 10, 1948 and they were married 48 years before his passing in 1996. Alice was also proceeded in death by her parents, five siblings, James Hanna, Rosalie Hanna, Tom Hanna, Naomi Mankin and Ruth Carter and two grandchildren, JT Wade and John Daniel Dugger Jr. Alice is survived by two brothers, John and Bill Hanna, four sons, John Wade Jr (NormaJean), James Wade, Joseph Wade, Jeffrey Wade (Angie), seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Alice also had many nieces and nephews. Alice was a homemaker and an active member of the Gospel Tabernacle Church. She was a great seamstress and a phenomenal cook. She loved to garden, listen to Gospel music, read her bible and most of all spend time with those she loved. Alice had an unwavering passion for Christ and loved listening to, reading and talking about his word. Alice was loved by everyone who knew her and will be missed by all.
