Mrs. Pritchard died Friday, December 17, 2021 at a local care center after a brief illness. She was born on April 17, 1939 in Bell County, Texas to the late Jerry Cabla, Sr. and Frances Janacek Cabla. She was a resident of the Seaton community and later moved to Temple. She attended Seaton School and graduated from Rogers High School in 1957. Vallie married Eugene Haisler in 1957. She married J.D. Chlapek in 1982 and he preceded her in death in 1986. She later married Robert Pritchard in 1998 and he preceded her in death in 2009. Vallie worked for CenTex Periodicals, Mobil Chemical and in the cafeteria at Temple schools. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, three sisters: Dorothy Schiller, Antonie Schiller Malcik and Blanche Sexton and one brother: Jerry Cabla, Jr.
Survivors include a daughter, Deborah Haisler Schiller and husband, Reuben of Salado; sons, Myron Haisler and wife, Olivia of Morgan’s Point Resort and Alan Haisler and wife, Rose of Franklin; a brother, Henry Cabla and wife, Margie of Oscar; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mrs. Pritchard’s grandsons, Jason Haisler and Caleb Haisler.
