Graveside services for Rosemary Durden, 87, of Temple will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 1, 2012 at Hillcrest Cemetery with Chaplain Judy Hoelscher officiating. Mrs. Durden died Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Durden was born in Ralls, Texas on September 14, 1925 to Dan A. Brown and Laura Plaster Brown. She lived in Temple most of her life. She married Jesse Durden in 1940 in Rogers. She worked at Spot Cash Grocery, The Old Original Restaurant, Gibsons, and WalMart. Survivors include her husband Jesse Durden of Temple; one daughter Carole Boren of Temple; two grandchildren, Brad Boren of Carthage, Texas and Karli Smith of Keller, Texas; two great grandchildren, Misty Smith of Keller, Texas and Destiny Boren of Carthage, Texas and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorials may be made to St. Luke Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
