Richard Kenneth Morell, 46, known as Rick to all that loved him, went home to be with our Lord on December 26, 2017 at 5:49 AM, after a long illness. He was born at Darnall Army Hospital in Ft. He was best known for loving our Lord Jesus with all his heart, soul, strength, and mind. He could be found on any given day spreading the Gospel for all to hear. He had a big heart for serving and loving his neighbours as himself. Even being in great pain for such a long time, if asked how he was doing, he would reply, "I'm very blessed, I woke up this morning with a beat in my heart and a breath in my lungs". Even though he was in pain most of the time, he gave us all such courage and hope. He would always remind everyone of the preciousness of life.
One of his passions was gardening and being thankful for God's creations. He would tenderly care for and pray over his gardens and they would flourish at the touch of God's hand, He loved fishing with his brothers as well, even if they didn't catch anything, he would still enjoy the journey and the quality time spent together.
He also pursued the path of becoming a culinary chef, he was very innovative with food, creating new dishes and putting together exciting menus, putting his own spin on it, he would call it "kicking it up a notch". He got the biggest joy in preparing and sharing his baked goods with his friends and family, you could taste the love he so cafefully weaved into whatever he was cooking or baking.
His other passion was the Dallas Cowboys, he was truly their # 1 fan, win or lose he stuck right by them, any time you saw him, he was sporting the blue and silver. He called them his Boyz.
