Olin H. Pick

Olin H. Pick, age 92 of Temple, died Sunday, March 8, 2015 in a local care center. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Thursday, March 12, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. Steve Sauser as celebrant. Burial will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 PM Wednesday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Mr. Pick was born December 12, 1922 in Rogers to Adolph and Rellie Fuchs Pick. He was a graduate of Rogers High School. He married Loran Mary Green on November 16, 1946. She preceded him in death October 28, 2006. He retired from McLane Company in 1988. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. He was also preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Alfred Pick. Survivors include one son, Clayton Pick and wife, Dawn of Temple, three daughters, Corlis Stracener and husband, Gary of Guadalajara, Mexico, Carey Doughty and husband, Larry of Temple and Colette Daniel and husband, Jeff of Brownwood, five grandchildren, Kelli Worthy and husband, Jamie of Pearland, Matthew Doughty of Corinth, Natalie Doughty of Temple, Jeffrey Daniel of Lake Worth, Florida and Catherine Daniel of Belton and one great-granddaughter, Victoria Elizabeth Hodges. Also surviving is one brother, Adolph Pick and wife, Jacqueline of Thrall and two sisters, Elna Persky of Rogers and Nalene Nauman of Bay City. Pallbearers are Randall Pick, Bobby Pick, Donald Pick, Barry Nauman, Brad Nauman and Gaylon Matous. Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church.
