A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home, 3110 Airport Road in Temple, Texas
Matthew was born September 13, 1994, in Houston, Texas, the son of Darrell Triplett Freshour and Cynthia Louise Neal Freshour.
Mr. Freshour attended Rogers schools where he was an active member of the National Honor Society, band, played football, and received the President's Education Awards Program for Outstanding Academic Excellence. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and investing.
He was employed by Lengefeld Lumber Company as a Forklift driver.
Matthew is survived by mother, Cindy Neal Vance; sisters Becky Freshour Olayan, Debbie Freshour Turner, and brother Darin Freshour. He was preceded in death by father, Darrell Triplett Freshour, sister, Amanda Diane Freshour, grandparents, Bootsie and Louise Neal, Edison Oliver and Oma Yettie Freshour. Stepfather, Edsel Vance.
The family would like to thank Lisa Sumners for listening, guidance, and the encouragement that she has shown to Matthew and his family.
