Hugo Robert Fuchs, age 95 of Rogers passed away on February 17, 2012 at the Santa Fe Hospital in Temple. He was born to Henry Ernest Fuchs and Alma Feist in Buckholts on November 1, 1916. Hugo attended the Fuchs School. He served in the Army during World War II beginning his service on December 11, 1941. He was assigned to the 1848th Service Unit Medical Detachment in the Southern Pacific. He received the Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal with 1 bronze star and the Good Conduct Medal. Hugo and Louise Rae Reese were married on July 12, 1957 in Rogers, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, 9 brothers and sisters, his wife, and 3 sons: Wallace Rae Reese, Marcus Albert Reese and Danny Lee Reese. He is survived by daughter Jane Fuchs Moon of Rogers and husband Price Moon and granddaughter Amanda Moon; daughter-inlaw Francis Ranly Reese of Temple, granddaughter Trina Reese Koo and husband Ken, grandson Wallace Hugo Reese and wife Deanna of Mesquite, and greatgrandchildren, Alyssa, Wesley and Wyatt; daughter-in-law Kay Biggs Reese of Houston, granddaughter Amber Reese Young and husband Jason of Mansfield and great grandchildren Alexis and Emma; granddaughter Marcie Reese Kuhl and husband Kevin of Tomball and great-grandson Marcus; daughter-in-law Lana Krueger Reese of Schwertner, grandchildren, Alesia Reese Schneider and husband Keith of Georgetown, great grandchildren Addison and Peyton, grandson Aaron Reese of Salado and great granddaughter Anya, grandson Allen Reese and wife Desiree' of Thorndale and great grandchildren Lilly and Lucy. Visitation will be Sunday, February 19 at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 20 at 10:00 A.M. at Hope Lutheran Church in Buckholts with the Reverend Gary Kleypas officiating. Burial will be in the Rogers Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hope Lutheran Church in Buckholts, Texas. The family would like to thank the many family and friends who supported them during Hugo's illness, including the physicians,nurses and support staff at Scott & White Hospital, Santa Fe Hospital and the Scott & White Hospice Unit at Santa Fe.
