Harold attended Belton Schools and graduated from Salado High School in 1959. He worked in the farming industry, roofing industry followed by a long career of driving a semi for Wilsonart.
Mr. Procter was involved in Faith Baptist Church, American Legion, a 50 year member of the King Solomon Masonic Lodge and a 50 year member of the Karem Shrine.
Harold also served as the General Ag Superintendent for the Bell County Youth Fair.
He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty years, Charlotte Procter, his parents, Harold and Ora Lee Procter, and one son, Ray Procter.
Harold is survived by three daughters, Janice Procter Bilbrey of Thornton, Velvet Procter of Temple and Barbara Procter Hilliard (Ken) of Belton. He is also survived by one sister, Peggy Smith (Cecil) of Belton. Mr. Procter is also survived by two granddaughters, Tara Orrels (Justin) of Monroe, Louisiana and Hannah Procter of Stephenville, Texas.
The family would like to thank Temple Rehab, Enhabit Hospice, Juanita Davilla and Lisa Brock for their care and compassion they showed our dad in his final days.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation at 10:00 am at Faith Baptist Church, 1102 S. 51st in Temple followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 27. Interment will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park at a later date.
