Drusilla “Dee’D” Ferman, age 63, of Moody, Texas passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at her home in Moody. She was born on August 16, 1961 in Snyder, Texas the daughter of Johnny Joe and Tennie (Eades) Saunders.
A visitation will take place on Monday, November 11, 2024 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple.
Per Dee’D’s wishes, family will have a private funeral service.
She was a graduate of Belton High School, received 2 associate degrees from Temple College and worked for many years at Scott and White Hospital in Education Administration.
Dee’D is survived by her husband Tom Ferman of Moody, children, Chris Ferman and wife Heather of Belton and Amy Gonzalez and husband Jaime of Temple, 6 grandchildren, Makayla Ferman of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Braden Ferman of Temple, Kaleb Ferman of Belton, Marcos Gonzalez of Temple, Diego Gonzalez of Temple, and Maria Gonzalez of Temple, and a brother Charles Newman and husband Phil of Lewisville, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Joe Saunders and Tennie and Charles Newman.
