Steve was a former GTEDS employee and then was self-employed until his passing. His passions included participating in local Stock Car racing, performing live music locally and his beloved cats.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his sisters, Mary Luke (John) of Lithia and Kalli Torres (Schuyler) of Lakeland; stepmother, Kathy Torres Van Horn; cousins, Freddy Pichardo (Sandy), Edward Pichard and Abby Pichardo. Steve is also survived by longtime friend, Jeff Arndt.
A Celebration of Steve's life will be held at 1:30 PM, Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Blount & Curry, Terrace Oaks, 12690 N. 56th Street, Temple Terrace, FL 33617.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Steve's memory to the local SPCA cat rescue.
