Robert Ray Whitlock, 86, of Tampa, passed away June 30, 2023.
He was born in Tampa on Sept. 23, 1936. Bob married Barbara Brewer on April 26, 2019. He had a career as a 23 year firefighter for the City of Tampa Fire Dept. Bob was a member of Mission Hill Lake Carroll Church. He had a passion for his family and helping others.
Bob is survived by his wife Barbara Whitlock; children Vicki (Ed) Garcia, Scott (Denise) Whitlock, Kim (David) Gilio, Deborah (Chad) Ware, and Ross (Luli) Cannon; siblings Richard (Martha) Whitlock and Evelyn (Jack) Wensyel; his 15 grandchildren; and many extended family and friends.
Visitation will be 6-8pm, Wed. July 5 at Blount & Curry Terrace Oaks.
Funeral services will be held 10am, Thurs. July 6 at Blount & Curry Terrace Oaks with the burial to follow at Myrtle Hill Memorial Gardens.
