Jennie and her husband Jimmie were married for 57 years. She was born on December 5, 1917 and was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jimmie, parents Giuseppe and Emilia Pizzo and siblings John Pizzo, Mary Capitano, Lee Paladine and Angela Foglia. She is survived by sons, Joseph V. Aprile and wife Cynthia, Jimmy V. Aprile, Daniel T. Aprile and wife Angela, Ronald D. Aprile and wife Debbie; grandchildren Monique Petronje and husband Peter, Dr. Joseph J. Aprile and wife Margaret, Sheri Maxim and husband David, Tony Aprile, Daniel J. Aprile, Jason G. Aprile and wife Natalie, Jennifer Aprile Easterling and husband Wyatt, Ronnie Aprile and wife Jenna, Francesca Aprile Trado; great grandchildren, Yasmine Petronje, David Aprile, Nathan Aprile, Grace Aprile, Evan Maxim, Madison Aprile, Abigail Aprile, Jason Aprile, Brodie Aprile, RJ Aprile, Riley Aprile, Zachary Trado, Trevor Trado, and Colton Trado; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Jennie devoted her entire life to her family. She loved to work, but did not consider it work as long as she was surrounded by her family. She began working on the family fruit farm in Marlboro, NY. After her marriage, she moved to Tampa, Fl with her husband Jimmie, where she became the secretary and bookkeeper for the family business, Maple Lane Cattle Company. Jennie established and operated a fish and poultry market in Ybor City. She loved to cook and prepare meals for her family and found time to attend school functions and help her children with schoolwork when needed. Jennie was a past member of the Temple Terrace Garden Club and the Sons of Italy. One of her hobbies was fishing. She also loved to play poker and dominoes with family and friends. She enjoyed cruising and traveling with her soulmate, Jimmie, and their friends. She was the matriarch of the family and will be greatly missed. Jennie was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church and attended Mass regularly. Our special thanks to her wonderful caregivers Martha Til, Patricia Flores, Caridad Gregores and the Ruby Team at Lifepath Hospice. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 10, 2023 from 10-11:30am at Blount & Curry, Terrace Oaks, followed by a Mass of Resurrection beginning at 12 noon at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Interment in Myrtle Hill Memorial Park. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Lifepath Hospice Ruby Team, 11150 N 53rd St., Temple Terrace, FL 33617.
