Willie Cotton May Parkey

Mrs. Willa Mae Parkey “Cotton” age 80 of Tazewell, TN was born May 17, 1936 in Hamblen County, Tennessee and departed this life October 20, 2016. She was a member of Wallen Ridge Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband William Parkey Sr. ; son William Parkey, Jr. ; son Dayton Parkey; mother and father Oscar and Willie Lee Goins ; brother Oscar Goins Jr. "Bug".

She is survived by her daughters: Julie Parkey Brown (Tommy) of Jefferson City, TN

Velvet Parkey of Tazewell, TN

Stephanie Parkey Piercy (Shane) of Tazewell, TN

7 Grandchildren: Brandon Parkey, Duane Parkey, Katie Parkey, Thomas Brown, Josh Price, Kelly Parkey and Whitney Parkey

4 Great Grandchildren: Dayliam Parkey, Keyland Ford, Avery Parkey and Gavin Price

Sisters: Geneva Gales and Annette Goins both of Tazewell, TN

4 Nieces and 2 nephews

Best Friends: Roscoe and Brenda Goins and Poodle Barnett

The family will receive friends from 11 A.M. until 1 P.M. Sunday October 23, 2016 at Coffey Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 1:00 P.M. Sunday at Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in the Goins Cemetery.
